Going green and reducing your carbon footprint is a priority for many people these days, even for billionaires. Below are 3 supercar electric hybrids we at TwinLuxe love for their jaw dropping looks and extreme performance – the Porsche 918 Spyder, Ferrari LaFerrari, and BMW i8.

Porsche 918 Spyder – $850,000
The Porsche 918 is a piece of technological art and a supercar you’ll rarely ever see driving on the road. With a 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds, it commands a 4.6L V8 producing 608 horsepower combined with front and rear electric motors, giving a combined maximum system power of 887HP. On electric-only mode, you get a range of 12 miles which is 1 more than that of a Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid. On gas mode only, you get a surprising 22 mpg. Otherwise in hybrid mode, the 918 has a 67 MPGe rating. Not bad for this bad boy right?

Ferrari LaFerrari – $1,350,000
The LaFerrari is a fighter jet designed for the streets. It houses a 788 HP 6.3L V12 mated with 160HP of electric power for a combined power of 949HP. You’ll rocket in 2.5 seconds or less to 0-60 and is overall the fastest Ferrari to date. Unfortunately there’s no EV only mode but Ferrari estimates the EV range to be under 6 miles. Only 499 cars will be produced, and they’re all pre-sold so good luck trying to find one in the primary market. Time to call Amex Centurion and have them try to locate you one. They are selling on the secondary market at a 100% markup!

BMW i8 – $136,650
The BMW i8 is the cheapest of the 3 supercar hybrid cars we’ve mentioned here, but it has all the characteristics of being the sports car for the future. It has an EV range of 15 miles, 76 MPGe, and 28 mpg on gasoline only mode for a 228 HP 1.5L 3-cylinder turbocharged gas engine which drives the rear wheels and a 129 HP electric engine which operates the front wheels independently. 0-60 in 3.8 seconds which is not under 3 seconds like the above 2 cars but yet an impressive stat nevertheless. The look and styling of the i8 is revolutionary and unlike no other, and so we feel it will be a collectible car to own in the future. Good luck trying to find one at MSRP right now as BMW dealerships want $100k over sticker for this Mission Impossible car.

These 3 electric hybrid supercars are perfect examples of the TwinLuxe philosophy – performance, stunning looks, and bringing a smile to your daily routine.
